Due to the high volume of applications, we closed submissions at 10:00am on Tuesday, 18th February. Following this, the scholarship selection panel will review all entries, and applicants will be informed of their outcome.

Thanks to the generous support of Community Bank Clifton Hill – North Fitzroy (Bendigo Bank), we are proud to offer scholarships to support students from the Clifton Hill – North Fitzroy catchment area in overcoming financial barriers and achieving their educational goals.

Audience

  • Students enrolling or currently enrolled in a course at either the Melbourne Polytechnic Collingwood or Fairfield Campuses in 2025 (short courses not included)
    OR
  • Local Melbourne Polytechnic students that reside in the Clifton Hill – North Fitzroy catchment (refer to eligible post codes below)

Eligibility

To be eligible, applicants must either be:

  • Students enrolling or enrolled in a Melbourne Polytechnic course at either the Collingwood or Fairfield Campus in 2025 
  • Reside in one of the following Clifton Hill – North Fitzroy post codes:
  • Abbotsford 3067
  • Alphington 3078
  • Collingwood 3066
  • East Brunswick 3057
  • Fairfield 3078
  • Fitzroy 3065
  • North Carlton 3054
  • North Fitzroy 3065
  • Northcote 3070
  • Thornbury 3071

Scholarship Format / Structure

  • Scholarship funding can be applied to tuition, material and amenity fees - paid directly towards the enrolment & re-enrolment process.
  •  Assistance outside of tuition, materials and fees (eg equipment, uniform) will be paid as a direct EFT payment to applicant.

Selection Criteria

Applications will be assessed based on the following:

  • Background and personal circumstances, including justification for financial assistance to commence study or continue study at Melbourne Polytechnic in 2025.
  • Financial assistance specifics/ breakdown Eg, tuition, materials, tools of trade, uniforms, exam fees, technology etc.
  • Proof of enrolment OR proof of enrolment status.
  • Any documentation to support the eligibility criteria or application (eg Fee statement, material or equipment costs etc).
